The advantages are obvious - you can deliver presentations simply, quickly and spontaneously from the projector itself, you can avoid the need for messy cables and possible technical obstacles, and you can therefore save an awful lot of time. A standard commercial USB stick is more than adequate to provide the necessary data* (ex. Powerpoint-, Word-, Excel- or PDF-files).
